Moving in timeline

Browsing the recordings can be done easily by using playback buttons and dragging the timeline. The time scale of the timeline can be quickly changed with the mouse scroll. The timeline can be easily dragged to desired time.

Area search

Area search is a powerful tool for searching for motion in specific areas of single or multiple camera images. It is faster than any other motion area search on the market. The results are shown
on-the-fly with no post processing time.

Bookmarks

Create bookmarks easily on the fly by right-clicking on the timeline and selecting add bookmark. Give it a description and view the related recordings later by simply clicking on the bookmark from the bookmarks list. Bookmarks are also shown on the timeline with their descriptions.

Camera layouts

The user can save camera window layouts to the display menu and to the quick layout buttons. The four quick layout buttons are always visible on the top bar for fast selection. The camera window preset layouts and automatic arranging buttons help to use as much of the screen space as possible.

Remote connections

It's possible to show cameras and recordings from multiple remote Ksenos servers. Their recordings are shown on the same timeline with the local cameras. All features work as if the cameras were local.

Window cloning

Clone window and Detach from main timeline are powerful when combined together. The cloned window(s) can have their own independent timelines simultaneously.

Backups

To create a backup close the unnecessary cameras and simply drag the timeline to the desired beginning time and click on "select starting point" and then move to the desired end point and click on "select end point". Right-click again to select "Take a backup". Open the backup from the Recorder menu. The backup can be viewed without the software license on any modern computer (PC or MAC)

Video clips

To create a multiplexed video clip close the unnecessary cameras and simply drag the timeline to the desired beginning time and click on "select starting point" and then move to the desired end point and click on "select end point". Right-click again to select "Create a video clip". Another way of creating a video clip is to record it straight from the playback. Click on "Create video clip" on a camera window. Type in the name of the clip. The shown video of the camera window will be saved to the clip. Continue the clip from another camera by just clicking on its window. Stop creating the video clip by clicking the button again.

Camera image zooming

In addition to window scaling the digital zoom is useful with the latest high-definition cameras. Zooming in and out is possible with the mouse scroll.

Search recordings easily with a barcode scanner, by typing in parts of the barcode or by filtering the extra data

Floorplan

Ksenos Prime includes a floorplan feature. It helps to clarify the locations of the cameras, indicates detected motion and gives rapid access to the camera's live image. The floorplan feature is scalable from one storey to multi-storey buildings.
